While I eventually ended up in video game development as my career, my first love was costume design. I attended California Institute of the Arts for their costume design program, and was one of only 2 people accepted that year.
My work in costumes began in cosplay back in 2002, but progressed to original designs using unusual and natural materials, with a focus on apocalyptic, sci fi, historical, fantasy and occult designs. My work tends to reflect a handmade, DIY and analog style commonly found among the punk and metal communities.
